There will be a new Parish Sheriff, along with mayor in Abita Springs and Pearl River. And there will be 7 School Board races up for grabs.
Voters in St. Tammany Parish need to be well-prepared in advance of the Nov. 3 election: It might take you a while to get through the ballot.
Though more than half of the parish’s 67 races closed Friday, with candidates receiving no opposition by the end of the qualifying period, 31 races will be left when voters head to the polls in November. . . .
